The Amount of RMB Loan by Small and Medium-sized Enterprises is up by 28% compared with the beginning of this year
According to the joint statistics of the People’s Bank of China and the China Banking regulatory Commission, by the end of September 2009, among China’s domestic banking and financial institutions, the balance of loans of the small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) totaled RMB 14.1trillion Yuan, including 910.2 billion Yuan notes finance, increased by 28% or 3.08 trillion Yuan compared to the beginning of this year.
In terms of loan quality, by the end of September, excluding noting finance, the amount of non-performing loans of SMEs reached 534.1billion Yuan, accounting for 4.05% of the total loans disbursed to SMEs. The non-performing loan was reduced by RMB 71.6 billion Yuan, down by 1.83% compared with the beginning of the year.
